LaKeisha Washington, DEIB Educator and Founder of ARI Consultants, has over 10+years of expertise curating cultural fluency programming, developing protective policy within the public and private sector, and transforming work cultures, while investing a lifetime commitment to creating change. Her passion for people, stemming from her previous employment with the EEOC and the EPA’s Office of Civil Rights, has afforded her (US) national recognition for her shared efforts in the Federal implementation of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) protections under Title VII. Her dedication to uniting diverse experiences and perspectives is matched with her drive for business success, delivering key results as an Account Manager for Altria. With an eye for detail, an analytical mind for data, and a way with people, she leverages her adaptive personality and solution- driven cognition to develop ways to drive innovation, for both the business and the organization. She spends her spare time enjoying the likes of motherhood with her 21 month old daughter, the joy of her life, while remaining present within Chicago’s local activist movements and advocacy groups for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Through the work she conducts for the business, as well as the organization, she strives to be recognized as a leader in both, playing her role to contribute to achieving enterprise goals.
