Debbie Peterson is an Author, Entrepreneur, Former Mayor and Real Estate Broker. As the first directly elected female mayor of Grover Beach, California, Debbie Peterson exposed the corruption she describes in her best-selling book, The HAPPIEST CORRUPTION: Sleaze, Lies and Suicide in a California Beach Town. The CEO and founder of a manufacturing company in the UK, Debbie was named the Young Business Personality of Scotland and won several awards including one from prime minister Margaret Thatcher and was made an Honorary Scottish Master Baker by The Scottish Association of Master Bakers. Debbie returned to California to raise her son, where, in addition to her public service, she has closed over 500 win-win residential real estate transactions. Debbie continues to write, travel and ski with friends and family. She studied journalism and radio-TV at CSU, Fresno before completing an undergrad degree in communication/public relations at the University of Idaho.
