John Dandurand
I have worked in the hearing healthcare industry since 1983. After attending Cal State Northridge majoring in Business Administration, I was offered a position working for a hearing aid manufacturer. In 1984 I attended Cerritos College in pursuit of my Hearing Aid Dispensing License.Having loved the idea of helping the hearing impaired I purchased my first hearing aid office in Torrance Ca. in 1989. I served the South Bay area hard of hearing population for over 17 years fitting hearing aids on children as young as 6 months old to adults of all ages. In 2002, with a partner, I purchased a second office in the LA area serving mainly the lower income community. In 2006 I sold both offices and looked to the Palm Springs area for my next venture in the industry.In 2011 I bought into the Sonus Hearing Care Professionals franchise buying 10 clinics in the San Diego County area. The clinics served the county population taking most insurances including Medi-Cal. I wanted the community to know that we were truly there to help the hearing-impaired population so for the past 10 years my company donated Tens of Thousands of Dollars to organizations assisting the hard of hearing. IJohn now serves as the Vice President of Growth and Innovation, spearheading initiatives to ensure that Sonus stays at the forefront of the hearing healthcare industry.
