Jill Bazelon

Jill Bazelon is an educator and program director based in Philadelphia with over 20 years of experience in non-profit community work. She graduated from Williams College, and then received her masters and PhD degrees at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) Graduate School of Education. Jill founded a non-profit organization, Bridges to Wealth, in 2012. This initiative was incorporated into Penn’s Netter Center for Community Partnerships in 2018, where Dr. Bazelon continued to serve as the program director. In this role, she oversaw dynamic financial literacy programming for Philadelphia School District high school students, as well as Penn undergraduate and graduate students. In her current role, Jill works at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School for Business as Senior Associate Director, Student Engagement. She directs and oversees high school, college, and graduate level programming across Wharton’s world-renowned finance centers. Jill proudly serves on the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law Board of Trustees to help live out the groundbreaking work of her grandfather.
