Scott Hammerstrom
Scott Hammerstrom oversees Bender Leadership Academy programs, partnerships, and special events. He is responsible for building programs that enable students with disabilities to engage in educational, empowerments, and work readiness opportunities with a focus on setting and achieving career goals. Scott has served as regional coordinator of Disability Mentoring Day (DMD) for the past 15 years. Has over 18 years of experience supporting for-profit and non-profit organizations focused on creating equity and providing services for people with disabilities. Scott joined Bender Consulting Services, Inc. in 2007 as a member of the talent programs team. In his role, he supported disability employment development programming and workplace mentoring. Prior to joining Bender, he worked for Best Buddies Pennsylvania and the Arthritis Foundation of Western PA. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Robert Morris.
