Linda Lee Goldberg is the founder and executive director of the National Association of Buyers' Agents. Since 1988 she and her company have been profiled in many publications, including "Money" magazine. She has been interviewed on several television and radio shows, including Fox News "Cavuto and Company. She testified before the Committee for Consumer Protection hearing on used car safety issues. She presents seminars and classes on "Car Buying Made Easy." CarQ charges a flat fee to find vehicles and arrange purchase, leasing and financing. Savings have averaged $3,968 for more than 6,000 consumers. Unlike car brokers, CarQ charges a fee for its services, thereby avoiding any conflict of interest. Brokers, on the other hand, receive fees plus hidden commissions from dealers, manufacturers and those lenders who finance auto purchases and leases.
