"Tanya"
Her given show name for protection of identity is “Tanya”. Born in a small Russian community, she a mother who was an alcohol abuser and sexually promiscuous, a father who was distant due to work requirements, a younger brother who suffered respiratory disorder and cardiac disease, an older sister who was anxious and inattentive most of the time. “Tanya” was to assume adult responsibilities from the age of 7 years old: never really a child to enjoy the life of youth. She provided and protected the family while nourishing and bonding each person in this dysfunctional dynamics uniquely different and in accordance to their individual needs. Although a good student who loved school and learning, she was forced to assume the life of a prostitute. Now “Tanya” seeks a new life and is writing a book to help others realize hope and know that help is available.
