Despite impressive scientific advances and massive economic growth over the past 60 years, our health care is in crisis globally. Lack of access and the high costs are the main challenges in global health. The US healthcare system is by far the most expensive in the world. There are about 50 million of its citizens totally without coverage. Healthcare spending reached a total of $3.2 trillion dollars in 2015 in the US alone.
