The New York State Legislature recently passed the Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act of 2019, which includes significant amendments to many laws, including but not limited to the Rent Stabilization Law, the Rent Control Law, the Real Property Law, the Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law, the General Obligations Law, and the General Business Law.
