Dr. Joseph Shrand serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Riverside Community Care in Dedham MA, is a Lecturer of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, an adjunct Faculty of Boston Children’s Hospital Founder and is the Creator of Drug Story Theater. He is triple Board certified in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and a diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Alex Elswick

Dr. Elswick is a tireless advocate for people with substance use disorders. He earned a B.A. in History from Centre College, as well as a Masters and PhD from the University of Kentucky. His knowledge and experience with addiction is multifaceted. His professional experience, non-profit work, and research agenda all focus on long term recovery. But most importantly, he is himself a person in long term recovery from the chronic disease of addiction.
