We talk with Attorney, Jack Robinson, about questions many families face with regard to special education. Topics that are reviewed include how parents can go from having initial concerns about their child's development and learning to be able to access services that are included with Special Education through the laws set out by IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Jack Robinson

JACK D. ROBINSON, is an attorney and co-founder of the law firm Spies, Powers & Robinson, P.C., where his primary practice area is special education law and educational discrimination. Mr. Robinson has been representing the rights of children with disabilities and their parents for over twenty years. Mr. Robinson was the attorney for the parents in Endrew F. v. Douglas County Sch. Dist., a landmark case decided by the United States Supreme Court in 2017 that establiahed a “markedly more demanding” standard for determining the educational rights of children with disabilities. Mr. Robinson is a frequent lecturer on the application and construction of the Individuals With Disabilities Education
