You hear these terms frequently these days. Narcissist, gaslighting. These are all red flags that you are best advised to take seriously and RUN the other way when you come across them. The unfortunate thing is that so many of us get sucked in for so many reasons. Because "they are so nice" to begin with. Because you haven't experienced what real love is. Because you are love hungry and are afraid of letting go of someone who is paying attention to you.
