Paula Claussen talks with Jay Riordan (Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary), Kim Muslusky (Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary) & Carmen Sandoval (Chula Vista Rotary) about the rewards of volunteering.
Jay Riordan is VP of Giving for "Processing for Good", a Merchant Services Provider helping business save money on credit card processing. Jay has served on several non-profit boards over the years, including Rotary. He is passionate in helping others to achieve a better quality of life. He was born in Chicago and raised in San Diego where he is a member of Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary. Jay has been married to his wife Brenda, for 30 years and has two adult sons.
Kim Muslusky has 27 years in Rotary. She is a wife, mother, grandmother who retired from the Poway School District and now works for Rotary and the Thousand Smiles Foundation. She can be contacted at kimmuslusky@gmail.com
Carmen Sandoval has a long-standing commitment to community service which includes the Girl Scouts, Border View Y, many Latino advocacy organizations, and more than 28 years as a member of the Chula Vista Rotary Club. She chairs the club's International Projects committee, writes the weekly newsletter and has served in various leadership roles, including President. Carmen Sandoval was born and raised in San Diego and lives in the Bonita/Chula Vista area with her husband, Jesse Fernandez. After long careers in the private, public and non-profit sectors, they are 'living the dream' of fun, travel, and volunteering.
