Mary Potter Kenyon graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and works as Program Coordinator at Shalom Spirituality Center. Mary is a certified grief counselor and Therapeutic Art Coach. She founded the annual Hope & Healing Grief Retreat and a writers conference in Dubuque. She is the author of eight books, including “Refined By Fire: A Journey of Grief and Grace,” “Expressive Writing for Healing: Journal Your Way From Grief to Hope,” “Called to Be Creative: A Guide to Reigniting Your Creativity,” and a children’s book on loss to be released in 2024.
