Beth transitioned from educating others about home energy conservation at Florida Power and Light Company to several corporate lobbying positions in Pennsylvania. A large segue was from Senior Public Affairs Representative at PECO (then the Philadelphia Electric Company) to Director of Public Affairs at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
