The Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) program is a cognitive-developmental treatment program that helps parents learn how to guide their child to both desire and succeed in genuine give-and-take relationships, while addressing experience-sharing-communication, emotional regulation, episodic memory, rapid attention shifting, self awareness, executive functioning, flexible thinking and creative problem solving. Tom Brown, Detroit Metro-based RDI certified consultant, is now training people in India to use this important approach to children with autism.
