September 6th 2007: The Widows of September 11th – Where are they now; 6 years later?

Dr. Dianne Kane has provided crises intervention services to first responders since 1994. She is currently the Assistant Director of the New York Fire Department’s Counseling Service Unit, and has been responsible for the development of post 9/11 services. Dr. Kane has worked tirelessly and been a relentless advocate for the FDNY families impacted by the World Trade Center Attacks. She also facilitates groups for women who lost their firefighter husband’s on September 11th. Dr. Kane co-authored the book FDNY Crises Counseling Innovate Responses to Firefighters, Families and Communities.
