Dr. Albanese has just co-authored a book with Dr. Edward Khantzian entitled: Understanding Addiction as Self-Medication: Finding Hope behind the Pain". Dr. Albanese was born in Boston, and graduated from Boston Latin School. He attended Harvard College and Cornell University Medical College. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry.
