Beverly Cobain is a survivor of three family suicides, including the 1994 death of her cousin Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of the band Nirvana. She is a psychiatric/mental health nurse and the author of “Dying to be Free: A Healing Guide for Families after Suicide. Robert Gebbia is the Executive Director of American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.afsp.org )the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research and education, and to reaching out to people with mood disorders and those impacted by suicide.
