August 31st 2006: Losing a Sibling in Adulthood

Rayna Vaught Godfrey, is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Denver, Colorado. She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver and at Metropolitan State College. When Rayna was 20 her 16-year-old brother, Wesley, was killed in a automobile accident. Wesley and she were extremely close and his death was a devastating loss. On this show Rayna will share with Gloria and Heidi her research on losing a sibling in adulthood, which has given voice to her love for her brother while providing important data on the experience of often-unrecognized bereaved sibling.
