According to Amnesty International, Native American women are 2.5 times more likely to be sexually assaulted than women of other ethnic groups. Due to legal jurisdictional conflicts regarding crimes committed on reservations, lax response by law enforcement and lack of services, Indian women can pretty much be raped with impunity.
