Webster’s dictionary defines a hero as a man or woman of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. Our mental picture of a hero has significantly changed in the past 50 years. While Civil Rights Leaders and professionals used to be the eye candy of every youth, it has now been replaced by athletes and entertainers.
