Over 10% of people in America shoplift. 75% of Americans steal from the workplace and most do so repeatedly. Nearly 10% of Americans suffer from compulsive buying disorder. And at least 5% of Americans are compulsive hoarders. These problems exist worldwide as well. Research reveals that most of these problems can be addictive as people succumb to personal and social pressures in their lives. Many people don’t know help is available or if they do, they may be too ashamed to pursue it.
