Elizabeth Carpenter-Song will discuss ongoing research examining the lived experiences of recovery for people living with psychiatric disabilities. She is currently working as part of a multidisciplinary team of researchers at the Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center and Howard University to explore the meanings and experiences of recovery processes among individuals with severe mental illness in Washington, D.C.
