Major General Anthony L. Jackson

Major General Jackson recently retired from the United States Marine Corps after 36 years of service. Prior to his retirement, Major General Jackson served as the Commanding General, Marine Corps Installations West. Major General Anthony L. Jackson was born in Fort Lewis, Washington. He graduated from San Jose State University, San Jose, CA, 1971. In 1973, he completed his MA (History) at San Jose State. In May 2011, he was awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters (H.C.) from the Trustees of The California State University and San Jose State University.

Senator John Warner

Before joining the Senate in 1978, Senator Warner served as Under Secretary of the Navy (1969-1972), and as the 61st Secretary of the Navy (1972 - 1974).  He served on the Senate Armed Services Committee for 30 years, and was privileged to be elected by the members as Chairman or Ranking Member during 15 of those years. Senator Warner was involved in all aspects of the United States' military relationships with its key allies.
