Brian “B.J.” Hernandez has always been considered a quality rider since he vied for the Eclipse Award as leading apprentice in 2004. A quality jockey who has “flied under the radar,” he was the early pilot of Horse of the Year Rachael Alexandra and has most recently won the Grade I Whitney Stakes aboard Fort Larned, a potential Handicap Horse of the year. He will tell us about his journey to where he is today.
