In Overeaters Anonymous (OA), one of our key tools of recovery is a plan of eating. It helps us abstain from compulsive eating, guides us in our dietary decisions, and defines what, when, how, where and why we eat. OA does not dictate specific requirements for a plan of eating. We develop a personal plan of eating based on an honest appraisal of our past experience. A plan of eating helps us deal with the physical aspects of our disease and achieve physical recovery.
