Have we heard it all now? Is there anything left to know about racial healing, but to just DO IT? Maybe we are using patterns and language that are no longer useful. We know the problem. Can we think our way out of racism? Just like someone who wants to stop smoking. Maybe our conscious mind is not in full control. Is the addiction or pleasure of staying on top that much stronger? Is this a scary nightmare or reality? How much anxiety, pain, and discomfort over race is required to make lasting changes in policies and institutions?
