Republican Sen. Damon Thayer floor leader of the Ky Senate, supported a measure in a bi-partisan effort with Gov. Steve Beshear earlier this year that would have put the issue of expanded gaming on the 2012 ballot allowing the people of Kentucky to vote on the issue. Thayer works as a marketing consultant in the horse industry and has previously held positions with the Breeders' Cup and Turfway Park. He will discuss the merits of that expanded gaming legislation.
