Rev. Jacklevyn Manuputty sought to nourish peace in the Maluku Islands of Indonesia which were torn apart by religiously motivated violence. He strengthened communal bonds by co-founding the Maluku Interfaith Institution for Humanitarian Action, (LAIM).
