As a result of this work in the veteran community, NATRA Inc. began a partnership with the Veterans Administration in late 2008.
By September 2010 NATRA launched a ten bed emergency shelter program at Perry Point Maryland.
In March of 2013 the name of NATRA was changed to VSCOA or the Veterans Support Centers of America to more properly reflect the work and mission that the original nonprofit organization had been doing very successfully for over 2 ½ years
