Jockey Ben Creed is the leading graduate of the North American Racing Academy founded by Hall of Fame Jockey Chris McCarron. The native of Louisville had no previous riding experience, but through a chance meeting with jockey Mark Guidry he learned about the newly formed school. After an internship with trainer John Sadler, Creed took out his jockey’s license and since then has won two riding titles at Turfway Park. Creed became the first graduate of NARA to win 500 races.
