We are able to know and express ourselves through the relationships that we have during this lifetime. However, because we are juggling so many responsibilities as intimate partners, parents, friends, employees and the many other roles we have in relationships, it can be easy to become outer-focused. We can often overlook our intuition because we are so concerned with making sure that the people we love are happy, with doing a “good job” or with meeting those deadlines. As a result, we lose sight of the fact that the most important relationship is the one that we have with ourselves.
