Winemaker Stu Smith of Smith Madrone Vineyards in Napa Valley will share stories from his over 40 years of winemaking and life in Napa Valley. In May 1971, with a partnership of family and friends, Stuart Smith bought the ‘terroir’ which today is Smith-Madrone Vineyards & winery high on Spring Mountain.
Smith-Madrone remains a true craft producer, making only 4,000 cases of estate wine annually. The vineyards produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Riesling.
