No one argues that had the Nazis succeeded with building an A-bomb, the world would be a very different place. Historians, however, still vary in their views as to the Third Reich’s proximity to achieving that goal. Just last week, Austrian filmmaker Andreas Sulzer uncovered an underground Nazi complex in St. Georgen an der Gusen, Austria, apparently part of a secret atomic weapons development site.
