In December a number of museum bloggers issued a joint statement calling for museums to address cultural and racial issues that were brought into sharp focus after tragic events in Ferguson, Missouri, and other cities around the country. A mediated Twitter conversation #museumsrespondtoferguson followed and offered a snapshot of how museums were—and were not—responding.
