Chief Deputy Ray Washington

Chief Washington started his law enforcement career with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office October of 1983. In 1985 he joined the Detroit Police Department. He served in numerous capacities throughout the department: patrol, Gang Squad, undercover work in the Narcotic Section, Violent Crimes Task Force, as well as The Traffic Enforcement Unit.
