The evolution / revolution of the connectivity of vehicles is not new, dating back to the first factory-installed car radio (c. 1922?). The future is definitely connected. We may be starting on the curve of a hockey stick with endless possibilities. While it’s hard to argue with the long term value of driverless cars, the biggest gains of applying emerging technology may come with the commercial vehicle.
