Active listening is an important aspect in offering respect in relationships. In my practice as a Leadership and Life Coach, I have found that people have a desire to feel loved by others, I have found that people want to be heard. When I was receiving coaching a few years ago, my coach said, "Fi, I hear you." I remember what an impact those words had on my life. I felt like in that moment, I really mattered.
