Affairs can be physical, emotional, deep, unending and almost always secretive. They are the most hurtful and destructive thing anyone can do to committed monogamous relationship. It is the ultimate betrayal of trust. Yet the vast majority of people in a committed relationship are not monogamous throughout the course. Relationships can be the loneliest places in the world when they are not working.
