Today's economy is changing so quickly. The old ways, in many cases, are too linear and slow to capture value and build capacity in organizations. Today with technology, global reach and interconnectedness and a workforce that will largely be made up of millennials -- we need more flexible and adaptable approaches than how we have done things in the past. Organizations need to be more agile - which does not mean move full speed ahead with no guardrails -- but it does mean that we have to adapt principles and systems to this world we live and not the world we used to live in.
