The Veteran Burial Benefits Program with the VA is a limited program which does not cover all of the costs associated with a veterans burial or cremation. The program only covers some, but not all, of the veterans funeral expenses. After reviewing this subject matter with a number of veterans our findings showed that there is a great deal of confusion surrounding what the veteran is entitled to by way of veteran burial benefits.
