The definition of “resolution” is “a firm decision to do or not to do something.” How light is that? How inviting is that? How many conclusions and limitations do we lock into our body and our lives with our New Year’s Resolutions? Resolutions come from a place of judging ourselves: we review our year and all the things we did that we wish we hadn’t, or all the things we didn’t do that we wish we had.
