We ask people to stand up for heroes so that we can find, fund, and shape innovative programs that help our impacted veterans, service members and their families thrive.
Lee Woodruff is a best-selling author, journalist, mother, and wife. In 2006, a roadside bomb critically injured her husband, ABC News anchor Bob Woodruff, while he was reporting in Iraq. Inspired by Bob’s miraculous recovery under the care of military doctors, Lee and her family created the Bob Woodruff Foundation to ensure today’s injured heroes and their families have the resources they need to thrive.
