Trainer Kenny McPeek’s Senior Investment looked like a horse screaming for 1 ¼ miles when he rallied from 9th to 1st in the $200,000 Lexington S. (G3) at Keeneland on Saturday. Sad to say he came up short on the Derby points system, but he could be headed towards the Preakness or Belmont Stakes. It’s Your Nickel, sixth in the $1 mil Blue Grass S. (G2) on April 8, worked a half-mile in :48.80 Tuesday morning and would make his next start in the April 22 Illinois Derby (G3) at Hawthorne. Kenny will let us know about his plans for both colts.
