I am a recently retired Private Fire Investigator with 34 years of experience serving the insurance and manufacturing industries and the legal profession. I retired from a nationwide engineering and fire investigation firm where I performed both investigative and managerial functions. I have investigated over 4,000 fires and have testified in both civil and criminal courts regarding the origin and cause of fires. Prior to being a fire investigator, I was a police officer and detective for 10 years including assignments to Internal Affairs and the metropolitan Major Case Squad. Todd Kerkhoff

I have more than 24 years of in the fire service and currently serve as the Fire Marshal for Consolidated Fire District #2 of NE Johnson County, KS. I’m an active member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and am currently serving as the Vice-President of the Kansas Chapter of the IAAI. I have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration and am certified as an IAAI-Certified Fire Investigator. I am also on the Technical Committee for NFPA 1033, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigator.

Kevin Savage

Mr. Savage began Law Enforcement career as a Patrol Officer for the City of Champaign, Illinois after serving in the U.S. Military for approximately 5 years. Kevin served over 26 years as a special agent with ATF. He spent 20 years on the South Texas Border; the last 9 as a Certified Explosives Expert and CFI conducting origin and cause examinations.
