Here’s a straight to the point fact of life: rumors, hearsay and gossip damage your culture. Everyone knows this is true, and yet the cycle perpetuates. That is why it is important that as a manger you do not condone or participate in this behavior. Stirring the rumor mill is a lot like the telephone game; by the time the story gets to you, it has been completely distorted and has lost any basis of truth that it may have had.
