There has been much discussion lately (ongoing now) about mental health issues. From skyrocketing teen suicide rates to violent psychotic episodes, school shootings, people going apparently nuts for no reason at all, it's happening in our cities, towns, and in rural areas, in poor and rich neighborhoods, schools and streets nationwide. At some point, the discussion always turns to the fact that the perpetrator of whatever atrocity just happened (and they keep happening) was "disturbed" and was "under treatment" for psychological problems. Where is all this weirdness coming from?
