Approximately 266,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer annually. The treatments, while lifesaving, can have significant side effects that decrease not only day-to-day quality of life but may have residual effects that remain for years after treatment. We will discuss the pros and cons of using integrative care, both during and after treatment, and how it may help to improve quality of life as well as treatment outcomes for these women
