The Director of the Equine Industry Program in the College of Business at the University of Louisville. Sean Beirne had a variety of posts in the racing industry starting in college as a hot walker for D. Wayne Lucas at Churchill Downs to Administration Assistant at Arlington International Racecourse, to Vice President of Racing and Track Announcer at River Downs.
He will talk about his vast exposure to different aspects of racing and specifically on his current position since November 1, 2018. In essence he has come full circle to administer the program that launched his career.
